freaking out one of my other eggs piped the wrong way not in the air cell I urgently need help

It looks like it made a really good hole. So it can breathe just fine, no need to panic. They can easily still hatch on their own that way.

Now the really hard part starts. Since it broke the membrane and the shell at the same time, without internally pipping into the air cell first, it could take up to 40ish hours before it actually tries to zip out.

At this point, I would wait at least until it has been 24 hours before doing anything. Just watch, and try to make sure it stays active.

But IF it starts zipping, and stops for more than a few minutes at a time (between punches), then you should probably be ready to jump in and help it finish zipping.

Ok thanks I'll watch and wait to see if it can unzip himself hopefully all goes well should I most the eggs right now?

I have a chick pipping - right on schedule.

Of course, after buying an incubator, now my old silkie is sitting on the bantam frizzled cochin eggs. Murphy's laws. Might have two batches of chicks - 19 days apart. yikes.

I'm not sure what you mean?

Any action yet?

Of course! :D
I had some hatch a week ago, more due next week, and 10 days after that.

Hey, sounds like its time to set another batch! :gig
