Oh my!!!!! your right, I just went to look and can see 2 external pips!

Does that mean the ones with external pips aren't likely to have drowning issues and now for them it's just a matter of finishing strong?

Sounds like they are on their way!! Congrats!!

Others aredoing fine trying to unzip....
But back to the malpositioned duckling (which pipped from the end)
I tried helping it get free a little by taking a few pieces of the shell off and putting it back in the incubator to see if it can unzip it self however blood can be seen shown on the photo should I leave him or do something?

Is he moving well?

I'd leave it for a bit, wait for those blood vessels to recede a little.

And if you need to help more, work your way around the pointed end and leave the middle of the egg. I mean, leave him in half a shell sideways, not in a bowl. You don't want them to rotate inside the bowl and end up face down.

Ok yes he's peeping and moving still I'll leave him for a while and see how he goes...,

So I have 4 external pips.... do you think I should try to open the lid and add a sponge for more humidity or leave it?

And are the external pips still in danger of drowning or more likely shrink wrapping? Thanks

Didn't see this. I'd just leave it now, especially if they are hatching!
