Lone duckling :( (also a new member hey y’all)

You are getting some good advice here.

As far as sleeping goes, I usually brood my chicks and ducklings indoors, and while the constant "talking" is initially a problem, I acclimate to it fairly quickly and actually find it a bit comforting, because I know that as long as I can hear talking, everything is okay.

Good luck with your baby, and welcome to BYC!

Hi! I just hatched a new duckling from my brooder, and sadly only one of our 12 eggs hatched ;(. She is such a cutie but she already imprinted on me and I just don’t know if I can sleep with her beside me chirping all night. So far I’ve taken her everywhere with me, but I’m in high school and gone for almost 12 HOURS tomorrow. She was just born 14 hours ago and I don’t know what to do.
Hello, do you have a tractor supply near by? They have recently kicked off their chick days..Maybe check to see if they have ducklings available!?
