Lone duckling :( (also a new member hey y’all)

Hi! I just hatched a new duckling from my brooder, and sadly only one of our 12 eggs hatched ;(. She is such a cutie but she already imprinted on me and I just don’t know if I can sleep with her beside me chirping all night. So far I’ve taken her everywhere with me, but I’m in high school and gone for almost 12 HOURS tomorrow. She was just born 14 hours ago and I don’t know what to do.

you could try to make a video that loops with you talking and have something with your smell near by so it think your still there.
