Now, that would be cool, to breed a Patchwork Orpington who bred true. Thanks for the compliments. Skye came from Jim Cox, back when he still had his birds. I sent him the link so he could see his granddaugher.

I've found that the older my blue birds get, the darker their feathers come in after molt, and they lose that brownish overtone that some get. My big blue Jersey is about three now, and is more gorgeous than ever!
