Looking for Silkies

Hello I am looking for two or one female silkies in southern California if anyone can help I'd appreciate it thanks maybe a breeder or a store that anyone knows of that sell them , or even if they need rehomeing Whether they lay or don't I'd be happy to give them a home their for pet purposes , already posted in other threads haven't had any luck & the only shops near me sell unsexed chicks not silkies or adult roosters or they don't know what breed they are , thank you

I believe only my pet chicken sells sexed bantams chicks. You will probably want to look for birds already laying. Silkies are tricky to sex. I have some 6 month chicks that I’m still not sure on.

Haha tell me about it all I can find are rooster silkies! & trust me I'd love to get a rooster I love their look & their noise but if the neighbors complain I'd get it take away I would be so sad so that's why I need females but I guess everyone wants females so they're hard to find!

Yes I wouldn't be opposed to adult ones even if they're not laying anymore their for pet purposes if I get a chick & it's a rooster It'll get taken away but I'm having 0 luck , & shouldn't be long now till you find out Goodluck

I waited a year for silkies. Keep looking, I hope you find some

Mine look like girls but 3 are crowing so I know they are boys lol
