Mad Chicken growl!

That's a pretty gentle growl, to me. I have a couple that do more of a stereotypical movie pterodactyl screech if anything comes near the nest box. Though I disregard it anyway and check for eggs.

now that i got a camera phone you have not heard her scream at me yet.
this was her growling at me.... She can get very very vocal if I don't bring them treats.... she screams louder than my neighbors rooster.

So I went out and was checking for eggs and chickie was in the nest box,
I seen an egg on the other side (brown) not her egg
and took it. she lays blue and green eggs. she started
growling at me LOL figured you guys would want to hear this hahaha

I like those little noises.
Wait until you have a full blown broody, LOVE IT. I really do, they screech a you.
Now. My GF hens, I don't mess with them much when broody, they are very serious about their job
