Mahonri's 2nd Annual BYC EASTER HATCH. Post pics of your chicks!

And for those of you waking up to pips, zips and peeps... congrats.

Those of you waking up to nothing... just be happy you didn't wake up to what I woke up to this morning:

I woke up to 8 chickies, increased from six. I've got another Speckled Sussex and the first Welsummer, and there's a pip on another.
However, Speckled Sussex 1, who I was concerned about last night and who pipped yesterday at 9:40 am (it's 7:18 am the next morning now), has not progressed and is no longer moving around when I shine a light on him. He is alive and panting in his shell.
Humidity was down in the 50s when I woke up. I guess I didn't add enough water to last through the night

, but I did have 2 hatches overnight.
Can you guys take a look at this SS and tell me what you think? (That's his beak on the middle right of the hole and little pink tummy or something in the rest of it.) Do I intervene, and if so, HOW?

Finally got caught up from last night. SCG are you just gonna go out there and pick up the skunk and release it? Worked for the bobcat right?

Steve, I hope your chick stuck in the half shell is doing great now!

Woke up to two more out of the shells and all fluffed up. I now have three lavs, two splits, six poults and it looks like a blue AM from my egg. The poults are just adorable. Love how they come running up to my hand when I put it down in the brooder. I have more pips going on and I took the fluffed up chicks and poult out of the bator to make room for the ones working on hatching. So far this has been my best hatch yet. CC's chicks are just adorable!
Congrats to all the new chickies, duckies, goslings, quail (we haven't seen any pictures of those yet) and poults hatching!
Remember today is officially hatch day so for all of you who haven't had anyting hatch yet, now they should all start making their appearance.
ChestnutRidge, I would keep an eye on that zip. It looks like the chick might have gotten stuck. How long has it just been sitting with the beak out and no further zipping?
ETA - just checked the bator and another lav is out!

Thank you. It had a tiny pip at 9:40 yesterday morning, then it made its current hole at about 5:00 in the evening, so it's been sitting like that for about 15 hours.
What should I do?
