Mahonri's 2nd Annual NYDHatch, watching them grow...

I think that's a terrible choice. You should hatch something else, and send those eggs to me to hatch.

Naw, I would hate to be labeled as an enabler, ya know....

Why stop now?

This hatch is gonna be way bigger than last years!

And the pullets from this hatch will start laying by Memorial Day!

I may have to get my LG out and start that up if DH doesn't give me the money to get my new bator.

Well I guess I have to wait until he gets it first.

Now I'm feeling guilty that I shouldn't spend the money on it. But one way or another I get something to use.

I have six polish pullets, hatched in MARCH that have YET to lay an egg... freeloaders.... but the roo has been successful with a few of them so we'll have to see what happens.

Should I? Somebody stop me. I have an incubator full right now. I need an intervention. I sent an email inquiring about more eggs!

It's a sickness..I have 2 full incubators with more eggs on the way and I can't wait to set some more for the new years hatch. Enjoy the hatching sensation

Really though I'm breeding my own now and it really is exciting and I have to be choosy as they all hatch not like shipped eggs where 50% is great.

I'm pulling my bators out the Saturday after Thanksgiving... I've got to get them up and running... so I know they are ready for December 11th.

I am so lucky I am using shipped eggs, because if all of these - grand gesture to indicate 4 of 7 incubators - hatch, I'm SO more "covered in feathers" than I already am! Because I am filling 2 more of those incubators today.... with shipped eggs!

However, 2 'bators just finished hatching, so I'll leave one of the Octagon20s "free" for Dec 11th. (Just hatched 5 bantam Barnevelder chicks out of 9 eggs, and FOUR call ducklings out of FIVE call duck eggs!)
