I guess that means it works???? I had to google it since ya'll mentioned it and found it helps with daily headaches. I might have to try some of that. I'm soooo sick of having headaches!

I truly feel better this morning than I have in ages. I actually feel rested.

Update: No changes since pip last night. Pip is larger. No sign of zipping, yet. Cannot see any other pips....

You need to get a new dentist.

If a dentist doesn't have at least 2 or 3 spare handpieces there is something very wrong. I know times are tough but hey... how old is the dentist? Why wouldn't the receptionist call you ahead of time and tell you that they weren't prepared to work on you?

Back when I first started, I worked on NY Eve for the first 5 or 6 years but I noticed that half the patients scheduled for that morning would end up cancelling and I'm not one to just sit around and wait. (Big surprise there) Anyway... makes you wonder if your current dentist has a drug problem... "the drill is broken" is NOT an acceptable excuse.

He's ancient.

I think his equipment is ancient also. And I was the first appointment of the day.

I doubt he has a drug problem, just old rickety equipment.

I plan on getting a new dentist after he gets these fillings done. I'd cancel, but they charge $25 for cancels (although I think they'd better waive that!) and it's the last day to get my dental insurance through. If I sense anything weird, I'm outta there. Like if they start breaking out the bicycle.. Actually, she didn't say 'the drill is broken' it was 'his unit' (ok I had to snicker a bit at that).

I am at work now:/, but before I left, little uno (FBCM) had made it out and was doing laps around the bator, he/she is a rambunctious little thing. Another FBCM, and BO had pipped, and the first BO was zipping and working on getting out. I am happy to have a job, but this is my first hatch, and I want to be at home!

Congrats to everyone so far!

The old dentist only has one operatory?

In dental terms, a "unit" is the device that runs the air and water into the various handpieces (Hi speed, Low speed, ultrasonic) that are attached to it.

If he only had one "unit" he was dead in the water... I've got three "units" and they all work just fine.....
