Haven't seen how much the past 2 years but Emu meat used to go for $29 a pound.

It would be kinda hard for me to butcher an Emu that I had leash trained, I think..... even for $29. a pound.

HMMMMMMM.... wonder if I can use that as a reason to get one.... I wanted an emu a few years ago ......was told NO then too.
Took me 3 years to get my pit bull, so figure it will take a few more to get an emu!

Wikipedia says an Emu is 40-106 lbs. I don't know....that's a lot of $ for 1 bird!
