I just had to bring this thread back to show everyone Blondie's eggs.

I had hatched eggs from Halo. Just to refresh everyone's memory.

This is Blondie as a day old.

Blondie as a teenager.

And her eggs. Blondie's eggs are the Olive colored eggs. The darker eggs are Blondie's sisters the Marans also from Halo.

Just had to post a couple of pics of the "youngsters" and how they have grown. I have only these two left from the hatch.

The pullet just started laying this week and I have to say that the cockerel is turning into such a nice boy!

The bantams from my earliest Spring hatch have been sporadically depositing eggs into the round feeder, so I believe that the Silkies and the Ameraucanas aren't too far behind! Just enough time to test fertility and get the pairings right for the NYD hatch! Yes, yes... *goes off with visions of line-breeding charts in head*

Yup... we should have another fun hatch... buy then my Easter Hatch Icelandic pullets should be laying and it will be an Icelandic hatching fest for me.
