My other marans roo has never made an attempt at coming after me... and my Ameraucanas are sweet hearts and would never attack.

I've only had one other roo come after me in the last 3 years... he was a white crested blue polish... gorgeous bird and the third time he got me with his spur on the back of my leg was his last day at my place.

Thanks for all the comments, hopefully today will be better. Setting eggs that didn't break in shipping today. Next batch of eggs will probably get set Monday-ish, crossing my fingers THEY all make it in 1 piece.

Well, as you can see in the title there will be a contest! Go back to post one to see what the contests are.

A number from the hatch have been invited to help me judge the winners... in the event they win and already have a GFM they can decide who WITHIN the NYD hatch will be awarded the 6 month GFMS!

It just keeps getting more exciting.
