I'm already worried about that-my Lemon Blue Cochins SHOULD be here Friday...at least I hope so.

What day are you all going to candle the first time?
For The Warden-I think it is awesome of you to share those beautiful little Icelandics with some of the other NYD hatchers.

Oh my goodness, I just learned something about egg waiting time! The "put the eggs in the 'bator with JUST the turner working," until the scheduled start time!!!

Eggscellent! Because *ahem* I just won an auction for some BR eggs, despite my low bid, and they'll probably get here early, and I still have to go buy the TJ fertile eggs for the experiment. Two types of eggs for this Very Special NY Hatch!

I just have to say that it is going to be so sad to see this post go once the hatch is over. Mahonri, you should make a "part 2" post where everyone talks about their hatches and new chicks, and how they grow after the hatch is done.

Checked the eggs we are eating for dinner and we have BULLSEYES!!! I had checked before but you know, you just want to make sure! Understand about being worried about eggs arriving on time. I am supposed to be getting some lav orps in time.

Amy I am so pleased to hear someone is trying this hatch in the middle of winter in a place north of me. That gives me confidence. Thanks!

Are you getting shipped eggs too?
