Tomorrow I go buy a dozen TJ's eggs for my eggsperiment portion of this Massive NY Hatch. I'm also anxiously awaiting some shipped eBay BR eggs to add to the 'bator so it will be full.

Got the Octagon 20 Advance EX all cleaned..... Next to the one ready to go into lockdown - also tomorrow - full of Porcelain D'Uccle and Golden Spangled Hamburg eggs.

On another note, I just realized the green eggs I've been gathering lately have not come from my original EE (who is in full moult) but from her egg-daughter, instead! My very first GrandChick, Samantha has been laying for over a week, now!

Gosh, this chicken hobby of mine is so rewarding!!!

Turkey eggs set last weekend
Splash Marans eggs arrived today...though the PO left them on my deck in 20 degree weather

very cold but I don't think they froze.
Collecting my white, and project ameraucanas though they aren't laying every day
I'll fill the rest of the bator with first generation olive eggers....if my marans lay.

3 days!!!
