I have to admit that I am clueless on the candling. I just looked at 11 BO and 3 Ameracauna, and put the maybe's in this tray and the I do not think so in another. I did not even bother looking at the 18 FBCM, I do know that I need a better light.

OK, locked down. Still with 10 of 10. Some of them are moving, that's a good sign. 5 leghorn x BO, 5 RIR x BO. The BO is the alpha rooster. There is also a RIR rooster 2nd in command, who knows he may have sneaked in when the BO is not looking.

Ok am I supposed to have moving eggs, pipping eggs or even chirps coming from my incubator?

I hate feeling inadequate.

I've been staring at my incubator, no movement. Unfortunately the eggs remind me of little gravestones (yeah, I'm morbid).

I've also listened to the incubator with my stethoscope but nothing...

The wind outside right now sounds like a hurricane. I closed both windows in the coop and put tarps over both of the breeding pens. I hate it when it's like this outside.
