I think it's time for everyone to head to bed. I've got a 5 month old and a 20 month old that somehow are still awake (though napped earlier). My boys don't go to bed well without mommy.

We still have almost 3 hours to go until midnight! I have 8 chicks out and lots of pips, so will be waiting to see if I get a close-to-new-year chick! Good hatching vibes to all, and Happy New Year to those already there!
I came back down to check the bator. I have four pips that haven't made progress. Two others rocking and one Icelandic zipping. The Icelandic will most likely be out before midnight and I can't imagine the others even being close. One is barely enlarging the pip it made hours ago.
Oops the icelandic just popped out! Dark & light colored with slate legs. It has a bit of a yolk sac still unabsorbed but it is free of the shell. Hopefully it will be just fine. I haven't had that happen with my Icelandics. I now have a MFC zipping. Still living the dream of winning!
