Thanks for the well wishes everyone. I have had this garbage since Christmas Day and I'm so tired of feeling yucky. Everyone else has rebounded, but my rear is still dragging. I felt decent yesterday, but today I'm wiped out again.

Kathy, I might have to go in. (gosh I hate going to the Dr) If this doesn't clear up in a couple more days, I'll be going in. DH wanted me to go on NY Eve, and I told him "Are you crazy? Do you know how busy they are going to be?" Going to the doctor is bad enough, but going when there's a million people, NO THANKS!

Wolftracks, I'm so sorry.

I opened my last 2 eggs and they were late quitters. Probably quit 4-5 days before hatch. So everything viable hatched.

Great hatch! With the leg, what do you mean? Is it splayed?

What is splayed? The chick lays there with the leg spread out and it cant seem to stand up on that leg.

I think the P.O. was more to blame than anything you might of done. It sounds like you had a lot of scrambled ones and that wasn't anything you did. I think with all the Christmas packages our poor eggs didn't get the best treatment. Almost all of my quail eggs never even tried to develop.

I've got an eggie that's almost fully zipped. If no others have pips by tomorrow morning, I'm going to be really depressed.

On a happy note--I am loving watching the two babies I do have! One of them keeps falling asleep and landing on his head. It never gets old!

Now does anyone get why I started the Egg Train? I did it after I got 3 zero hatches in a row. My husband was my biggest supporter and I miss that. And the Train works good when it stays active, but when Ilet it die off it takes weeks to get it going again.

I have one really issue. I checked and the other chick didn't make it. I have a lone chick now. OMG! I have to find another one or I'll go crazy. Maybe I should just carry him around in my pocket all the time. I know how big my Davis flock is. How big do those Jean lines get? Gotta figure out what size pockets I need to shop for.

One a better note I have some AM chicks ordered, so although shipped I should see some peeps. Too bad it won't be for awhile.

Now I need to see if I can get my SIL over here and have him get some lights in my coops. I'm tired of ordering eggs. She says as she goes to check ebay and the auctions.

Here is my entry for "Cutest Chick".... Bearded Black Silkie... Yes folks, he/she is sitting in a measuring spoon.. Tablespoon to be exact! Smallest silkie chick I have ever hatched. I tried to get it to lay down and go to sleep in the spoon, but everytime I took my hand away, he would spring up looking to see where "mommy" went..
