How cool should they be? I can put them in the garage that is usually 58 degrees or in the house that is normally 68 degrees or in the refrigerator. Which is better?

Garage or house will be good. We keep ours in the kitchen until we set them. I know people hatch eggs that have been in the fridge, but that idea just scares me.

I wouldn't use the frig either. I keep mine on an egg turner in the basement, around 60*
