Thanks Keara! He is my buddy for sure...goes everywhere with me. He is a good boy, he gets an egg or 2 a day, that is why he is so chunky. Bailey and my girl Lillie get all of the cracked eggs.

Thanks Gilavina! I haven't weighed them yet..but I am very happy with their size.

What year Mercks?

Oat straw has a mite and should not be used for Hogs, dogs, and most any animal.

The Mercks is on line now so just google Mercks Veterinary Manual.

I'm just gonna stay away from any straw. It's just a house for bugs, anyway. My girls love orchard grass, I use that in the nest boxes, and they love to munch on it.
It smells so good, I may munch too!
And that Bill is a handsome devil! I have one blue copper roo just starting to "blossom", Let's see how long it takes for him to crow and drive me crazy!!!

here are some pics from the fair last week, I don't know how well the blue copper's egg will show up, but it's in there...

The splash laid a much lighter egg, don't know if it will darken up? She is next to Fred, my Welsummer.
