I'm hoping to get down to 100 or less before winter...that includes my dad's stock I raise for him, so I don't feel like that's too bad, its just hard to know exactly where I will end up. All I know is that the Marans and Wyandottes do need their grow out time. I'm down to the last ones that I am giving time to grow out. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed
that winter holds off until I can make the last calls I need to on who stays and who goes.
One bonus is that over the last few days my back seems markedly improved and I'm not feeling the constant pain from that nerve...so I'm really hoping I'm getting back to normal. I usually am a workhorse and can get tons done, but this having to take things easily, I'm starting to go a bit stir crazy.
