Some test eggs from Gnarles and some of Lil' Bill's first eggs and some Barnevelders and some Welsummers and hopefully 2 of the first generation blue laced Barnies.
So much for you cutting back!
I know, huh? But only the Wellie pullets will be staying, only Lil' Bill's offspring will be staying, all of the Barnie offspring and blue laced Barnie offspring will be staying. Gnarles' offspring are already sold as mixed breed layers, so that helps eliminate some of the numbers.

I noticed it at 3 weeks of age on that one blue copper male that had it and I swear it popped up overnight on a very nice Black Copper pullet that I had high hopes for just as she turned 5 mos. old, but she came in handy when trading for some firewood.
I hate it that I put the bator back in it's box! I was just on the Showgirl thread, and that Jesse is shameless! How dare people show off all these beauties!?? Don't they know I'm trying to cut back? Don't they care that I am drooling and spanking my hands to leave the bator be?? Nay, nay I say! Heartless, cruel people!
Now Vicki will come back with pics of new new gotten gains, and there I'll be...wanting more. Shameless, just shameless...

Sounds like you had a great time. I can't wait to see pics of your new birds. Congrats on your winning birds. I am still catching up on the thread. I spent the whole weekend working ICU and I'm dead tired lol. I love relaxing and reading about chickens again and going out to see mine. I hate when you have to leave when its dark and then you don't get home till its dark and miss seeing your birds!!
Debbie: UH OH does this mean you want to hatch Showgirls next??? Haha.
I candled my Crossroads eggs tonight. Day 6 and I have 1 Silkie growing!!!
A couple of Cuckoo Marans, 3 Blue/Splash Ameraucanas and 1 Black Ameraucana. Haven't tried the Black Copper Marans yet .... but I'm delighted that anything is growing!!!!

I must live vicariously through all of you guy's hatches to control my urge to plug in the giant incubator.
duhhhh...this is what I get for not reading all the new posts first...I see you have already given the update! Sounds like they are cooking away just fine!
