FlowerBH: Pea Comb + Green Legs = Brown Eggs....? at least in my coop. Well, it IS a Rosey Brown egg, so YAY! for that anyway. My other OE has a single comb... but I really REALLY wanted an Olive egg out of this Pea Comb girl. But... you get what you get.... and you DON'T get upset. That's the rule. We do have some EE's coming up and a BCM boy who is as 'Randy' as all get out. I think he'd breed the Yorkie, if it would stay still long enough.

Katelyn our boy is barrowed. We still don't have an electric fence, so no way to 'work' them. I'm half tempted to just go get one myself. Such a bummer about your Sportsman, how many eggs do you have in there? Have you candled since the mishap? Or are you just hoping for the best?

Debbi: I LOVED your story about Pip waiting on the girls to go in. Their antics are so entertaining, complicated and somehow... calming.

Katelyn, Yes. My boy does have lots of color in his hackles.... not good, right? And that IS a roo behind him in the pic, those two crack me up. Blue is the Alpha, but way too fat to catch the ladies, he kind of waddle, hops after them. Tom is much quicker..

Rirbrahma, I don't know much about Birchens, but I have a little one reading over my shoulder, and she is GaGa for that pretty bird!
