She started laying two days ago here is her gorgeous 2nd egg!

this is gertrude my copper black she is now 9 months old
she gives me an egg every other day since 17 nov 2015

A young pullet decided to lay her first eggs in the middle of winter. I'm interested in seeing if they darken more.

Lol no fishing here. Egg color is something I really want to work on. They are brown, yes, but aren't the chocolate the breed is known for
