hit a nerve! Dont ever buy a house with a flat dormer roof...aint worth it....now all you house builders and carpenter dudes dont chime in here unless you are willing to come to KY and do "your work" on fixin it for FREE! Ill just deal with it and put tar around the chimney so thick that said roof will collapes!!!! It looks like Oct here...brown and crunchy!

Gosh, I'd think that ANY time a new breed is accepted, they'd have to print the judging parameters off for the judges. I feel like we're being a little hard on judges...they don't know what they're supposed to be judging yet.

Right! Like I mentioned several pages back, I just don't think that every judge or person in the APA has had the opportunity to verse themselves or have been versed in the proposed standard. If a person thinks about it...it's not that small of an entity, so give them a little time. Marans are relatively new in the scope of things. I think I also mentioned as did Bev and Debbi about the importance of having a copy of the proposed standard with you to submit to judges and personnel prior to showing. We can't ask someone to judge something they know nothing to very little about with out giving them something to go by.

No problem, I was trying to touch on your comment about being a little hard on the judges and the giving them a little more time to get prepared. You know...just like when managment comes in and changes operating systems on the computer set up and you just got familiar with the old one...
