I asked that question once before too but it didn't get answered. My take on it is that yes they can hold it either way and even straight if they want to but 99% of the time his tail is held to the left angle that you see in that photo and sometimes even more to the left depending on what he is doing. He even carries it to the left while walking, running and playing. The only times I have seen it straight up is when he was a little younger and thought he was man enough to stand up to Gnarles.

Hi Dave

Well, at least this fire dept. is much better than the last town I lived in. Before every fire, they had to tow the fire truck down the highway to jump start it! Then they couldn't find most of the fires! They used to have jurisdiction out here too, and when my house got hit by lightning and the attic was on fire, it took them 45 minutes to get here! A 10 minute drive going the speed limit! Thankfully then, my Son was still here, and after I shut off the electric at the box, he went up there with buckets of water to put it out! All that service, and they wanted $60.00/year in dues?? I think, NOT! This dept. is state funded thankfully, and has much better equiptment!

Yep that is my main man Charles and that pullet is part of the Chocolate factory Ghiradelli... Pardon his comb... It would be bigger but last years freeze took the tips off... and last year he had a lot of flames in his chest... He has sure matured into a nice hunk of meat... pardon the pun there!!!! LOL No worrries Charles.. no cooking plans..

Oh....and Jan, you would be proud of me, I sold one of my 16 mos old BCM hens yesterday, my little Issabelle. She went to a good home to be spoiled by her new family. Issy was my most spoiled rotten and most loving little hen, she is the one that I carried around doing chores and she coos and clucks the whole time,

, but this family needed her, she will be loved. So there, I don't keep them all.

Just the majority of them.
