I agree. Up until now, all I could call this thing was a "Double Dose of Carnation". I don't know what to think, except it's FUGLY!!!

yeah...its been something I've been thinking about for a little while since I've seen his pic. I would guess he also has invert or telescope problems and either sprig or carnation....or if possible, all three? That I don't know about....what I do know tho...is that inverts and telescopes will take over in no time if left unchecked...just like sprigs

Oh yeh, he's a goner. Can't give these roos away! Stupid man that swore he wanted them all never did call me. Maybe if they think it's free, it's bad? I've had that happen before; set a price low and no bites. Raise the price, and they sell! Might just go post another ad tonight on the free site, for "Crossbred Roosters, $3.00 each". I just want them all GONE!!!!

not a bad idea to try. I don't blame you for wanting to get rid of them. That's why I'm glad we process our own and feel for those that can't

Sitting here with the TV going, and it's on "My Name is Earl". It's the episode where they go to the farm for wayward kids, and his brother Randy is talking about how he is scared of the chickens and roos, "the mean roosters, with those red, hanging, flappy things!"

How appropriate!

No, looks nothing like what I have here. Mine are swollen at the base and are trying to go erectand more outward. This other one looks like his are going inward. His is also not swollen at the base of the comb.
