Wow, we're back, lol! Boy was it quiet yesterday Was so frustrated the other day, went down the mornign after bringing the new babies home and three were dead

I know the guy I bought 'em from had them all for over a week so it wasn't any issues from him, and too soon to catch anything wierd from my older birds, and they seem to be doing so good with Mr. Broody Rooter, so I wonder if they just got too stressed on the way home. Who knows, haven't lost any more, so I'm crossing my fingers

Every time I go down there they run under their "friend" and peek out at me like "WHO are YOU?!?!?!" Love me some baby chickies

I had withdrawls yesterday...it wouldn't have been so bad, but it was a day where I only had to work a couple of hours. I'm so glad that it's back! I love BYC

Okay I am not particularly in like with the new BYC. Sorry.

Took 24 minutes to open and post 2 posts and edit. I will admit that it looks very nice and Nifty and Company did a wonderful job.

I like most of it, just not all the ads and other things that run along the right side cutting into the forum postings.

Do you know if there will still be member's pages like there was before? If so, I can't find where that is at yet?

I only have two btb males right now and one is a barred btb. So don't really have any to spare. My solid male isn't the best type or color but something to work with. I did have a girl to use with them but something happened to her the first night I had to work late and dh let the freerangers into thier pen for me while I was at work and somehow she didn't go in with them grrrr. Around here, if they get left out for the night they are long gone in the morning! I am going to mate the solid one to one of his sisters that I suspect might have a BTB gene. The barred one is in another project. Have you checked ebay? I've seen btb eggs on there on rare occasion. How about one of the Marans club. I think they have lists of who has what and lists of whose birds won at shows so you might find a lead that way and get a good one or some eggs. With eggs, you're sure to get a bunch of roos lol.

Math: I may be able to go to GA show we will have to see when it gets closer if everyone can adjust thier schedules and get the time off.

Hey Kim...what browser do you use? I read somewhere on facebook yesterday that they listed the best browser versions for using the new site. They said older ones would not respond as well and would be slower...so maybe that's part of it?

I know alot of people are switching to the google chrome browser. My kids play games on high speed internet and of my oldest ds has a programming degree and that what he uses. I've used it on our desktop and its not complicated. Also make sure you clear your cache/cookies and it should run faster.
