Had a dozen eggs from them this year. All went well. 9 alive and well. 1 died at hatch and two didn't hatch.

Ok...here's just three of the chicks from my first hatch of the year. First is a blue copper cockerel. He's gonna be huge and wide.



here's a close up (a bit blurry

) of the color he has coming in on his neck



Here is pullet 1...this is the girl that had the copper spot on her head when she hatched. So far she has no mossiness or color on her breast, so I'm hopeful she will turn out with a really nice copper neck!







Pullet 2...she's a lot more wild than the other two were, so these are the best shots I could get for now, but I'll keep working with them





I'll try to get some more pics of other chicks over the next few days as well...hopefully they behave!

Oh good I have a dozen silver eggs coming either today or tomorrow. I was hoping they were legit lol

the silvers they bought out from another place that was raising them and so this would be the year to buy them I'd think since breeding programs always change with each new owner. That's why I'm takin the plunge, although I'm doing chicks....but more than the 5 or 10 pack

thanks! i agree! I don't know how many you have, but the answer is always, people need more blues!! haha

I hear another chick that just hatched....hopefully its another blue. So far I have two black and two blues....cant tell what the newest one is yet.

I'll apologize in advance lol. Although we have black coppers, the eggs were not Marans. Just commented as all went well from the order from them.

Haha...no problem! I was just curious! I am dying to get those chicks...I'd guess in the next month or so, since he was starting to collect eggs for setting over the last few days for me.
