DonnaThe gold would be a DQ if they were admitted. It only shows on some chicks so keep an eye out for it and don't breed them. My one BIG offender is not in the breeding pens now.... I am VERY tempted to hatch them and see if it goes away. I have 17 eggs STARING at me to be hatched. They are such GOOD layers. I have been getting 4 eggs a day from 4 hens.![]()
I will definately keep an eye out for the red in the cuckoos and put the pullets with the layers (instead of the breeding pens) I am really happy that the lavs are EE. They are so cute...

There is a trade\sale in Sept, so if I don't get the red in them, I will trade for another roo.....
I can't thank you enough Donna... I think they are the cutest calmest little babies ever.
If they have the red.. So be it... I will eat the roos and just use the pullets in the layer group...
