Hi all! I confess to having been lurking on this thread for quite some time now. I tried to read all of the pages to date, however, there is so much information that it is a bit difficult. Wanted to thank all of you for being so informative. I am learning a lot and feeding my chicken addiction. Thanks again! This is a great thread.
I saw that in the wyandotte thread lady! Congrats. I've been toying with the idea of getting some silver pencileds again if I can make the drive up to Urch's. Its about 5 hours for me and used to drive right by them for the 10 years I lived in Mpls...Wow Vicki that heat sound bad! I hope you and the birds make it OK.
It has cooled her and is raining almost daily. Last night we got a lot of rain. I had an email from the guy I gave some little roos and pullets too and he said 26 drown in the rain. He said there was 6 inches of water in the penI had another guy call me last night and ask if I had anymore pullets for him. He got them a couple of days ago and they were only 2-3 and having had them for all of 1 day he let them out, one ran into the woods and his dog got another so now he only had the 1. WTH?![]()
BTW I am getting a started pair of BLRW and a SLW roo from the Foleys as soon as I can arrange a day to drive 4hrs to pick them up![]()
sure...which cockerel are you talking about? I'm afraid I've not been as present as usual with everything going on.So for now until some kinks get worked out of the system....I can post links to that cockerel from my website, would any of you mind taking a look and giving me your opinions, if I post the links?
