For those who have eggs that are due but are unsure if they're viable here is a tip if you want it. Yeah that's the type I use for my spot checking. When I checked earlier today mine were 102-103 with the regular thermometer reading 100 for the incubator.

Thank you! Those ir thermometers are handy! I use mine for the incubator and to check zones in the brooder too.

Candled all 30 eggs last night before putting them on lock down. I'm happy to say that all eggs have very active peeps in them. Should have my first batch in a couple days. Can't wait!

I'm sitting here like a worried mother hen LOL
Wonder if my temp on the incubator isn't quite correct? I was worried about the size of the air cells as I locked down - could my temp be a bit low hence they've not hatched yet at end of day 21.....

Yes,my temp being a scotche low is what I'm concerned about to on day 20. If a degree or two off low wise it generally delays 1-3 days.
