Hi! Room for one more? I set 10 yesterday 6 faverolles and 4 mutts faverolles mixed with dominique, SS, ameracauna, and delaware.

I'm pretty sure that mine will mostly be the paint's? Not that I wouldn't mind a black or white. I hope that I don't get any of the buff/red one's though, or I will be selling those for sure.

Im getting my first silkies tomorrow, i think mine are called splash, whats the difference between paint and splash?

Out of 12 eggs I have 7 to toss. Three were never fertile, and 4 quit on me. I have another one I THINK quit, but not sure. The others are looking good so far!

I did get a black one after all! It's my second silkie chick that just hatched! The whole beak is black too!

Congratulations on the hatch! That's exciting that you got a color that you wanted. I would like to hatch silkies or a silkie mix, but my one remaining silkie stopped laying eggs very early on and hasn't laid any since.

That's interesting. I've never heard of a paint before. And, it's hard to tell, but I think that only silkies can come in this variety. Interesting indeed.
