Went home at lunch and I have had 3 silkies (buff, white and black) arrive. The next 24 hours is going to be fun!

Actually, yes!!! There has been a lot of activity the last two hours and now I have 7 little cracked shells.

Congrats to you, too, fowl lover, and to all others who've hatched while I've been away! Sorry I haven't been around much - last week was a very busy week for our family with a fun but big event that distracted me from this thread for a little while!

My five babies are doing very well, although they're getting big! They're still fuzzy, but you can tell the fuzz is changing - turning into feathers. I just love them!

Well, we just hatched 7 out of the 11. The other 4 didn't make it. I feel bad for them, but overall I am pretty happy with the hatch. I will get pictures up as soon as they fluff up.

Well I have 9 silkies doing great and two that aren't doing so great. I am thrilled with the results considering I had the 108 temp spike at one point on them. I have a variety of colors!

Just into the new house and haven't internet until now.

Anyways, my duck did go broody full time but rejected the eggs when we moved. As for the other, I am going to leaver her there until the eggs hatch (with food and water of course). I candled three of the eggs and all three were alive and moving. I didn't candle the rest so far they are looking good!
