Wow Gail! He does have nice shape! Very good match for Tango.

Here's a little hen from Fall 2010 hatch who's improving upon type. Though black is in her hackle, wing, topline & tail, none in the breast. Will have to work on that part, hoping a cross with a finely shaped split roo will help or pure mfc.

I've been following this thread for a long time and now I'm going to post some my pictures. They are not very good, but here they are. These babies are from Nadine's eggs.

Thank you Coopa Cabana, I wish I had some of yours to go with them. LOL I had a problem with buying hatching eggs. I have many more chicks that I didn't post pictures of. MF and Mottled Cochins, about 35 total. And countless shipped eggs that never hatched. Now I have some of my own to hatch. Yours are very nice, just beautiful. take care.

The broody hen from Fattie is just gorgeous! what beautiful coloring. Keep us posted as to how the babies progress. I have boy very similar to yours with the partridgy feathers coming in.. he's one of my favorites. Looks like you have a few nice pullets too. Congrats!

Thanks Erin, I wish the pictures were better. I was looking at the pictures you posted on page 310, very nice. My little ones look alot like those. Except for 2, they look almost like mottled cochins. They are developing nicely though. I have a trio of mottleds from Nadine that have just started laying this week. They are beautiful and the girls are so sweet.
