only lavenders you will get is from the lavender pair other than that i have no idea. the self blue gene is a diluter gene takes 2 copies of it for it to be expressed. please post pics of the babies once you hatch some pleaseI have a pure lavendar ameraucana Rooster over my flock. It consists of one pure lavendar ameraucana hen, 4 EE hens, some barred rocks, a few Rhode Island Reds, and 3 Buff orphingtons.
Any idea (besides the lavendar) of what they may look like?
Would the chicks that hatch from the EE's eggs all produce blue/green eggs themselves?
I am planning on keeping the resulting lavendar chicks and have a new home waiting for the rest. I'm just curious
