Mixed breeds

Pics
What are they crosses of. They are gorgeous. They look like doves!

Haha I know. The light color one has white ear lobes and the more blue color has red. It will be interesting to see how they turn out! I am excited. :)

Their names are Pearl and Opal.

Hi everyone! to me a barnyard mix is not different than a mutt breed dog, which I have two of and love to pieces! We never planned on having or keeping a rooster, but the neighbors love him, so he got to stay. We put eight eggs in the incubator and only one hatched, and it's a roo,Sunshine (optimism of hen took over in naming process) of course! haha! we are going to keep him and see how it goes. His Dad is and EE (RIR dad and Americauna mom). Sunshines Mom is most likely our Splash Maran since he has so much white in him. Our other hens are BC Marans, and a Cuckoo maran/Rir mix. here are some photos, hoping he keeps the white!

Just picked up my first mixes. I couldn't resist they were so pretty.

5 month old pullets. Love the coloring.

I see Lavender Orpington in there. Sweet!

Ok you managed to make a turken cute! I want it!
I agree...and I have never cared for them before. You need to keep producing them...great combination!

Hello everyone! Ive got a mixed OEG bantam roo and Im wanting to try and figure out what kind/color offspring Id have from crosses of him with my hens(I have a variety of breeds). I was going to try the chicken calculator but hit a wall when it came to choosing his ground color and pattern color and then if hes duckwing, etc. im wondering if anyone could tell me what color he is? I sure would appreciate it! Thanks!

He is most likely a hybrid. He is not a standard color. It would be difficult to predict the exact out come of a cross with certainty. If he was a standard color one could make predictions with certainty.

Bummer. I knew he had to be some sort of mix since Ive never been able to find any examples that looked like him, but I was hoping for some kind of an idea. I think hes lovely and Id love to have some pullets with his coloring. Alot of my chickens are dark and I want some more bright splashes pecking about! :)
This little bantam hen is his mate(although he doesnt seem to be having any trouble "associating" with my standards either which is what got me wondering about offspring possibilities in the first place) Shes mixed like him Im sure but So pretty.
