mixing chicks

Hi. What are the risks involved if you buy in day old chicks to mix with day old chicks hatched at home?

There would be some risk involved, but I'd be comfortable with that risk for myself. But, I WILL NOT bring any chickens other than hatchlings or hatching eggs onto my property.
