Argh, just caught Angel pecking away at an avocado on the ground!I think the cockatoos might be eating the tops of them like they do the lemons, but aren't the skins toxic? Not sure if she ingested any skin or was just pecking away at the flesh, and not sure how much she had. I saw a thread that suggested activated charcoal, but the person's chicken seemed fine and it was from 2021.
Supposedly toxic but I don’t know how much is a problem. I wouldn’t think she would eat it if it was toxic.Argh, just caught Angel pecking away at an avocado on the ground!I think the cockatoos might be eating the tops of them like they do the lemons, but aren't the skins toxic? I've been throwing avo skins to my girls for years & not killed one yet. Suspect they'd need to eat a huge amount for it to be toxic.Supposedly toxic but I don’t know how much is a problem. I wouldn’t think she would eat it if it was toxic.
