True. Janet is wearing one of Ivy's feathers this morning. I'm sure it's by accident but it's accidentally extremely dramatic.

The only way I can have roosters is vicariously through this group, so I choose Stanley and Treacle.

I think I'm going to choose Cilin for my vicarious rooster. He was so sad that day he lost his tail that he touched my heart.

Sandy update

I haven't seen her as bonny in a long time. Nice red comb, filling out a bit, cheerful.

We still have the option of the chicken hysterectomy on the table (or maybe an implant) should she become sick again. But for now, I think she's doing ok. She sits on the nest without laying maybe once every ten days.
