I think it might've been a while since I shared a photo that shows Mary properly.

She's a little scruffy from moulting, but otherwise she seems to be doing ok.

Hmmm, not really. The nearest thing I can think of is hot oat cakes.

My pastry chef I learnt off was Scottish and put me on to their potato scones (Tattie scones) I loved them!!

Every afternoon I sit in my garden chair for a couple of hours and read while the hens roam around.

Peggy and Janet always check for bugs along the laundry wall.

When Violet was little enough still for her day nap we had not long had Penny and Bok. I used to love sitting out reading with them going about their chickeny business

Hi Grammy how's everything going for you?

Rather boring and mundane, but no more injuries. We go out for my therapy, doctor appointments, and grocery shopping and then back home, but it's enough for now as I don't want to push it.

I never made them, our work butcher sold them in a packet imported from Scotland.
