Here's something interesting.

Remember the frangipani with the bright pink flowers? It's later flowers are pale pink.

Seems very odd to me but maybe it's normal for frangis? Has anyone else seen this happen?
I was wondering if my pink frangis had faded slightly, maybe they have!
 
That's the first and last time I eat a packet of crisps with earshot of the hens.

Not sure, but a whole lot of feathers and dirt seems to collect under there.
Around here that gap would prevent mold from growing under it. Anything that sits directly on the ground too long can get moldy, only exceptions are potted plants.

Also metal on ground can more easily create condensation.

Ah! That does actually make sense. Though for @MaryJanet mold may be less of an issue given her climate.
