I was wondering if my pink frangis had faded slightly, maybe they have! Here's something interesting.
Remember the frangipani with the bright pink flowers? It's later flowers are pale pink.

Seems very odd to me but maybe it's normal for frangis? Has anyone else seen this happen?
Not sure, but a whole lot of feathers and dirt seems to collect under there.Hmmm do your hens put much feed under there?
I don't take any food anywhere near my girls. I get mobbed. That's the first and last time I eat a packet of crisps with earshot of the hens.
Mayhem.

Around here that gap would prevent mold from growing under it. Anything that sits directly on the ground too long can get moldy, only exceptions are potted plants. Not sure, but a whole lot of feathers and dirt seems to collect under there.
Ah! That does actually make sense. Though for @MaryJanet mold may be less of an issue given her climate.Around here that gap would prevent mold from growing under it. Anything that sits directly on the ground too long can get moldy, only exceptions are potted plants.
Also metal on ground can more easily create condensation.
