9 breeds, 4 chicks each (ok plus one "exotic "chick), arrived via priority mail at 9 this morning--loaded on a plane in St. Paul early Monday morning. Inspected them all as I gave them their initial dunk of Quik-Chik infused water--all seem healthy and no obvious signs of defects. Now all are hungrily pecking at Gro Gel-Plus and starter. This is about the 15th time I've gotten chicks from McMurray over a 30-year period and never a problem. Now have to wait to see if any were sexed incorrectly--that's never happened either. Supposed to all be pullets--except for that odd-ball.
