This pretty girl was a Christmas present.

Her name is Noelle I am going to breed her to the blue cochin Cockerel I am getting later this month

What a pretty little hen. I can't wait to see the babies- since she's a frizzle, about 20-50% of the babies will be frizzled and the other percentage will have normal feathers.

yep, the variety of the feathers makes breeding fun
she is having some respiratory trouble so she is getting tylan 50 and vet Rx. and rosemary and oregano in her feed and peppermint oil on her feet. it seems to be really helping
she is so sweet I love her

How did you come up with 20-50%?
She has one frizzle gene and one none frizzled gene. That gives exactly 50% chance of producing a frizzle chick when bred to a non frizzled bird.
Of course if they only produce a few chicks they could all be frizzled or all non frizzled or anywhere in between.
