New bunnies are doing well! I’m hoping to definitely determine sex of chinchilla this week so I can make sure I have it in the proper cage

Sometimes they crow early if a roo doesn't intimidate them.

Trying to decide if I’m going to break down and get a plucker for my birthday since all 7 are ready for processing

I went ahead and did it!! I will be trying to do 1 more batch of meaties in addition to turkeys and pheasants so hopefully it will be worth it in the long run!!!!

All female cornish cross at 8 weeks, 6.5 - 7 lbs.

I ended up with 5 pullets and 2 cockerels….at least one of which is already crowing! Overdue for processing…..pullets are around 8 weeks but cockerels and a couple are probably 12+ weeks Oopsie

I’m going to speculate that they will dress to 8-10# whole based on previous ages/sizes that we’ve processed
