My Chicken Existential Crisis... I mean journey

So why did she want to sell the cleaned birds? Was she going to give you the earnings? Or would she keep it because she helps pay for the upkeep?

Her friend wanted them for a photoshoot apparently?

She said she was going to give us the money. She just wants us to have fewer chickens because shes butthurt that they free range & because they dont lay eggs, but I have literally like 20 pullets that should start after the solstice.

I ultimately told her she could buy the birds from me and then do whatever she wished with them (and keep the profit) which turned into an arguement about how shes 'not a killer' and 'taking life is a big deal' to which SO was livid since she wanted him to do the killing.

I mean, mine multiply enough they're probably decent layers. But mine free range 24/7/365 so they just make nests and appear with babies. But clutches are usually close to 20 eggs
