For a couple of days i have noticed that some of my chickens poop had some blood. I am very worried for them. I went online and searched it up, and it says that its coccidiosis. I searched up a treatment for it and you are suppose to give them Corid 20% amprolium soluble powder. I want to know if I give this to my hens, then can I still eat their eggs, since its a medicine? Thank you so much.

Corid is not "medicine" in the true sense as it doesn't counter bacteria as an antibiotic would. It's a thiamine blocker, removing that B-vitamin from the chicken's intestines so as to deprive the coccidia of the nutrient they rely on to complete their life cycle.

So, it's okay to eat the eggs without a withdrawal period.

Thank you, that helped a lot!
