Thank you anywayMy leghorn's comb flops right over like a 50s hairdo. It's normal for that breed...not sure for SL though.
Thank youHere’s a picture of my sexlink hens I hope this kind of gives you an idea
Thank you this helpsWhen a hens start laying their combs grow bigger or flop over and turn bright red it will probably stay that way unless you live in cold environment, if you live in a cold environment her comb will perk back up. Thats what happened to my rooster he was old and his comb was starting to flop over and then we got cold weather and he looked young again!
I posted pictures of her comb she's about 5 months two weeksIts not really flopped over its just a little big for her age, but as she gets older it will flop over
Thank you she is laying they are her first few eggs I posted some pictures of her comb she's 5 months 2 weeksOh that looks fine. My leghorn's comb almost covers one eye. Any time a hen is ill egg laying is the first thing to go so if she's laying, she's healthy
Really? Thank you that helps I was worried before but feel better nowLooks like she just has a large comb. My Barred Rock’s comb flops over at the top too.
