My chickens interaction with deer

My wife feeds the deer and have two that are more or less been pets of hers for a few years. They interact with the new chickens very well, one even licking a certain golden lace a lot.

That's adorable! The deer usually don't sneak in our yard to steal pears until after the chickens are roosting.

My wife works in produce so all the animals get their fare share of fruits and vegetables, today was potatoes and avocados.

Not that thrilled with the doe that visits my yard -ate all my special hostas to the ground, of course left the ordinary ones. Was going to put up deer netting but,it's late for that.
